OUR MISSION

At Lakes Region Food Pantry we strive to help meet the needs of individuals and families facing food insecurity.  We offer food, food vouchers, personal care products and cooking classes.  We provide these services while respecting the dignity of each individual.

Heath’s Supermarket (frozen meat), Moulton Farm (produce), 100 Acre Farm (Moultonborough), area summer camps, Moultonborough Public Library, Moultonborough Central School and other food drives, as well as individuals.

FUNDRAISING

Silent Auction – annual event held at the Moultonborough Lion’s Club

Thrift Store – All items are donated and all proceeds directly support the Food Pantry

Donors include: Bald Peak, Altrusa, Moultonborough Women’s Club, Meredith Village Savings Bank, Melcher & Prescott, Interlakes Dental, Electrical Installations

VOUCHER PROGRAM

We offer monthly vouchers to our clients, depending on family size, to purchase fresh fruits & vegetables, eggs and fresh meats at E. M. Heath (Center Harbor) or Hannaford (Meredith)

COOKING MATTERS

We are partnering with the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension, the New Hampshire Food Bank, and the Center Harbor Congregational Church to provide ongoing 6-week cooking classes that facilitate lasting improvements to families’ ability to plan, purchase and prepare foods together that are healthy, delicious and low-cost.  The classes are also available for adults without children
