The Lakes Region Food Pantry of Moultonborough is truly grateful and thanks everyone who has supported its mission over the past 12 years. The pantry currently serves over 400 families throughout the lakes region every month, and this has only been possible because of the generosity and support of so many donors from near and far. The thrift shop is a source of income that helps fund programs that benefit the lakes region community. The thrift shop will be closed after December 21st and will reopen March 5th. Donations will be accepted on Thursdays when the food pantry is open to serve clients throughout the winter (excluding December 26th). The family of Lakes Region Food Pantry wishes all a happy holiday season and a wonderful new year!

HOLIDAY CLOSINGS 2024 – 2025

For the THANKSGIVING holiday Lakes Region Food Pantry and Thrift Shop will be closed Saturday, November 23rd through Saturday, November 30th.  We will reopen Wednesday, December 4th.  Enjoy your holiday!

Christmas/Winter hours:  The food pantry will be CLOSED December 26th.  It will reopen for clients Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 and every Thursday thereafter from 11 am – 4 pm.

THE THRIFT SHOP WILL CLOSE  FOR A WINTER BREAK TO CLEAN AND REORGANIZE.  The last open day for the thrift shop in 2024 will be Saturday, December 21st.  It will reopen Wednesday, March 5th 2025.  We will accept donations on Thursdays throughout the winter break.

Holiday Closing

The food pantry and thrift shop will be CLOSED Wednesday, July 3rd and Thursday, July 4th in observance of the 4th of July Holiday.

The thrift will be open Friday, July 5th, 10 – 4 for our 50% off SALE.

The thrift will be open Saturday 10 – 2.

Grant awarded to LRFP

We are extremely grateful for the grant we recently received from the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund.  This grant will help support our mission of helping ease food insecurity in the lakes region of NH, in particular with our voucher program.  This program supports over 400 families each month allowing them to shop at area grocery stores for fresh meats and produce.

Lakes Region Food Pantry received a grant from the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund for its voucher program.  The Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund makes grants to tax-exempt organizations without regard to religious affiliation for projects that help people in New Hampshire meet their basic needs.  The Fund is operated by volunteer lay men and women who serve as Directors and who make recommendations to the Bishop of Manchester for grants to any organization in New Hampshire whose mission is consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.  The Fund raises money through solicitation of individuals, businesses, and philanthropic organizations.
